Psychological Services Psychological services is a part of the Student Counselling and Career Centre and is located on the third floor of the University Square (Háskólatorg). It is free of charge for all students. Student Psychology Clinic The Department of Psychology runs a Student Psychology Clinic where post-graduate psychology students offer psychological counselling to university students and their children (under the age of 18 years old) under the supervision of licensed psychologists. International Office The International Office oversees and manages the international affairs of the University of Iceland. The office is responsible for administrating and developing international student exchange agreements along with participation in international networks and cooperation with academic partners. Student and Career Counselling The University Student Counselling and Career Centre (USCCC) provides students various support and services, such as advice on course and programme selection, work methods, and resources for disabled students or students with special needs. All students of the University of Iceland are welcome to the USCCC. Student Registration The Student Registration oversees registration for all students, and provides them with the service they require, such as certificates in relation to applications for study in Iceland and abroad, in addition to various general certificates, e.g. regarding rental subsidies, maternity leave, leave of absence, sickness benefits, unemployment benefits and more. Writing Centre The Writing Centre offers one-on-one tutoring sessions on all kinds of written assignments in courses at undergraduate or postgraduate level. The Centre specially embraces students working on their final theses and is open to all students of UI. Library Health Sciences Library The Health Sciences Library (website in Icelandic only) serves students and staff of the UI School of Health Science and employees of the Landspítali University Hospital. The library subscribes to hundreds of e-journals, e-books, and databases, such as PsycInfo, Scopus, Cinahl and UpToDate, and participates in providing national access to various e-resources. National and University Library The National and University Library is the main legal deposit library in Iceland and its national collection contains almost all published written Icelandic works. The library also has a large manuscript collection and a collection of published Icelandic music and other audio (legal deposit since 1977). The library houses the largest academic collection in Iceland with a broad collection of international scientific works and literature most of which can be borrowed for off-site use by holders of library cards.
