The Division of Human Resources organises morning meetings for University of Iceland staff who have left their positions due to age or other circumstances. An open house is held on the first Wednesday of every month between 10 and 12 AM where people get the opportunity meet and mingle over coffee and listen to talks from guest speakers. The lecture room in Neskirkja is the meeting place unless otherwise specified.
The meetings provide an opportunity for University staff to meet former colleagues. These morning meetings are organised by the Division of Human Resources.
