More added support resources

We would like to point out other possibilities and here are some ideas to other helpful options:

  1. To get personal and academic councelling, contact the UI Student Counselling Centre (UISCC). You can book an appointment with a career and guidance counsellor on our website or by phone 525-4315. You can send requests regarding academic and career counselling via radgjof[at]hi.is and requests about disability services via urraedi[at]hi.is
  2. You can contact your GP and ask for psychological therapy at your local healthcare clinic.
  3. The 5th year students in psychology also provide psychological services. There you can get short-term psychological treatment. Each session costs 1.500 ISK.
  4. If the problem is urgent and serious, you can contact The Psychiatric emergency ward at Hringbraut. It is open from 12:00 to 19:00 on weekdays and from 13:00 to 17:00 on weekends. Outside these opening hours, you can go to the hospital's accident and emergency ward in Fossvogur, which is open 24 hours.
  5. National emergency number is 112.
