Economics

The teaching of economics at the University of Iceland is based on a firm foundation. Economics has been taught at the University since the establishment of the Faculty of Law and Economics at the University in 1941.

Undergraduate studies

The Faculty offers an undergraduate programme BS in Economics, three areas of specialisation, and a BA in Economics with a minor subject.
These programmes are taught in Icelandic.

Graduate studies

Study programmes at the graduate level are mostly taught in Icelandic, however single courses are taught in English.
