The Health Science Institute is the center for research at the School of Health Sciences. The Institutes provides scientists various support related to their research, such as assistance with grant applications, management of research projects, statistics, the use of self-report measures and a facility for clinical research. Clinical Research Centre The Clinical Research Centre is run by the University of Iceland and Landspítali University Hospital. Its main goal is to support and strengthen the two institutions' research infrastructure and increase their collaboration in clinical research. The Centre provides consultations on funding, preparation, and execution of clinical research. The library subscribes to hundreds of e-journals, e-books, and databases, such as PsycInfo, Scopus, Cinahl and UpToDate, and participates in providing national access to various e-resources. The Psychometric Center The Psychometric Center provides researchers at the SHS assistance and consulting on the use of self-assessment tools and questionnaries in research. Services include assisstance with Choice of statistical methods Choice and use of software in statistical analysis Implementation and interpretation of results UI Division of Science and Innovation The role of the Division of Science and Innovation is to oversee joint university matters relating to research, such as consultancy for academic staff and institutes. The main tasks of the Division involve research-related funds, evaluating performance of academic staff, the work of evaluation committees, and university statistics.
