Guðlaug Friðgeirsdóttir, Hrafnkatla Agnarsdóttir, Júlíana Garðarsdóttir and Katrín Sverrisdóttir are clinical psychologists and offer psychological services for students at the University of Iceland. The UI Student Counselling Centre provides psychological services and is located on the third floor of the University Square (Háskólatorg). We provide short-term (1 to 3 sessions per semester), individual therapy sessions in Icelandic, English, Danish, and German, which are free of charge for all students. The service does not include diagnosis of ADHD. We offer, on regular basis, psychoeducation in groups regarding low self-esteem, test-anxiety, CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and stress regulation.
