Ásta Rún Valgerðardóttir, Guðlaug Friðgeirsdóttir and Katrín Sverrisdóttir are clinical psychologists and offer psychological services for students at the University of Iceland. Psychological services is a part of the UISCCC and is located on the third floor of the University Square (Háskólatorg). It is free of charge for all students. We provide a short-term, individual therapy sessions in Icelandic, English, Danish, and German. We offer, on regular basis, psychoeducation in groups regarding low self-esteem, test-anxiety, CBT (Cognitive Behovioural Therapy) and stress regulation.
