Science Ethics Committee

The University of Iceland Science Ethics Committee provides a review on research proposals for lecturers, students, research specialists and other employees at the University of Iceland.

The committee is composed of seven representatives, appointed for three years at a time. The chairperson is appointed by Rector.  Other representatives are appointed by the Centre of Ethics (1) in addition to one from each academic school (5).
