Political Science
Political science has been taught at the University of Iceland since 1970. The first professor was Dr. Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson, who went on to become President of Iceland for twenty years. There are seventeen tenured lecturers at the Faculty, a number of sessional teachers, and 650 students.
