Life- and Environmental Science for Exchange Students

The Faculty of Life- and Environmental Sciences offers various courses each semester taught in English, which are available for exchange students.

When selecting a course, students need to be sure that the course is taught the semester for which they are applying. Courses not taught are clearly marked in the course catalogue for the relevant academic year.

UAU courses marked with M are available for graduate students and undergraduate students who have finished at least 120 ECTS. UAU018M 'The Arctic Circle' is available for undergraduate students who have finished 90 ECTS  and all graduate students.

For some courses you need to get permission from the relevant department to attend the course.

Field trips

Some of the courses include field trips. This gives the students an unique opportunity to explore the Icelandic nature. Field trips may include some travelling expences.
