Life- and Environmental Science for Exchange Students

The Faculty of Life- and Environmental Sciences offers various courses each semester taught in English, which are available for exchange students.

When selecting a course, students need to be sure that the course is taught the semester for which they are applying. Courses not taught are clearly marked in the course catalogue for the relevant academic year.

For some courses you need to get permission from the relevant department to attend the course.

Courses can vary between years, some courses are taught every other year

Field trips

Some of the courses include field trips. This gives the students an unique opportunity to explore the Icelandic nature. Field trips may include some travelling expenses.
