University Buildings

The University of Iceland operates in a number of buildings in three areas: in Vatnsmýri and Reykjavík West (Vesturbær), Stakkahlíð, and Laugarvatn. The combined area of all University buildings is approx. 100,000 m². The University is a vibrant community which offers students and staff excellent working facilities. Most buildings have reading rooms and good facilities for group work. Moreover, a number of computer labs can be found in various locations in the area.

Opening hours may change during organised events, such as conferences and meetings

From 1 July until 5 August University buildings will be open as follows:

All buildings will be closed August 5 (Commerce day).
