New date for graduation – 27 June 2020

In accordance with paragraph 3, Article 52 of the Regulation for the University of Iceland no. 569/2009, graduation ceremonies shall take place on the Saturday closest to mid-June each year. The Rector may decide to change this date, which will be publicised at least two months in advance.

In light of the uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Rector has decided that the graduation ceremony which was scheduled to take place on 20 June will be postponed to 27 June.

Students due to graduate will receive a letter with further details as the date approaches.
