Korean Studies minor alongside a major constitutes a BA degree. The main focus is on the Korean language and Asian Philosophy. This interesting study programme opens your way into Korea's society, business, culture and philosophy.

About

The programme is a one-year full-time study (60 ECTS) at the normal pace. Students may choose to complete the Minor in Korean Studies in two years instead of one. 

You can only apply for a minor in Korean Studies if you are already enrolled in major studies or an incoming exchange student. Should you be unable to complete your study in two years, you may apply to the Department of Asian Studies and Russian for special permission to continue your study beyond the second year. The department may grant such permission conditionally.

Undergraduate studies

Icelandic matriculation examination (stúdentspróf: school leaving examination from secondary school) or equivalent qualification.
