The Diploma in Danish is a programme within the Department of German and Scandinavian Languages. 60 ECTS is by definition a full time study for one year and therefore the diploma takes one year to complete at the normal pace. Students who wish to continue to studying Danish at the University of Iceland may do so and get completed courses evaluated as a part of the BA programme.

Admission requirements

Undergraduate studies

Icelandic matriculation examination or equivalent qualification. Students are required to have language proficiency on the B2 level as defined in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
