Representatives from the International Division will present Erasmus+ and Aurora grants available for short-term mobilities abroad. The possibility of short-term mobility enables even more students to take part of their studies abroad. This session will also include a brief presentation of other student engagement opportunities within Aurora.
Erasmus+ short traineeship
Students can apply for an Erasmus+ grant to go for a short stay for traineeships or research (5-30 days) but the stay needs to be blended with an online component (the online component is not needed in the case of PhD students).
Erasmus+ single courses
Students can apply for an Erasmus+ grant to participate on-campus in single courses (5-30 days) at a partner university of University of Iceland in Europe. The stay needs to be blended with an online component (the online component is not needed in the case of PhD students).
Aurora single courses
Students that have been accepted to participate in an Aurora-organised course or event abroad, which entails a short on-campus mobility abroad, can apply for an Aurora grant for up to 30 days.
Benefits of doing mobility abroad:
• Wider selection of courses
• Possibility of getting credits transferred
• Possibility of travel and subsistence grants
• Opportunity to get to know the language and culture of a different country
• International networking
• Valuable experience
This presentation is in English and is a part of the International Days 6-8 November.
