Classes in Icelandic as a Second Language for the next school year start Monday, August 21, 2023. Note: The last day to begin the studies is September 4, 2023.
Introductory session
A specific introductory session will be held on August 18, at 10:00 AM for students in the Practical Diploma and at 11:30 AM for students in the BA-Program in room HT104. At these meetings, the organization and the requirements for the study programs will be presented. Classes will commence on Monday, 21 August, 2023.
Evaluation examination for advanced students in Icelandic
Students who already have good knowledge of Icelandic, are offered to take all 6 first-year examinations of the BA program in Icelandic as a Second Language. A special introductory session for these students will be held on Monday, August 14 at 11:30 AM in Árnagarður, room 304. Students have to show up there to registrate for these exams. The first exam day is on Tuesday, August 15 at 9 AM. Students who pass these examinations may advance directly to the second year in the BA program.
