The students of the university can get CBT for various disorders. We also offer behaviour counselling and anxiety treatment for children of university students. The clinic was founded in 2013. It‘s primary role is to train students of clinical psychology in diagnosis, assessment and treatment of common mental disorders. We are open from September to December, and from January to May. First interview The first interview at the Student Psychotherapy Clinic is always an assessment interview and takes approximately 90 minutes. Here the focus is on screening and assessment with standardized measurements. Treatment After the diagnostic interview we may offer treatment based on our assessment. We mostly treat common mental disorders such as: -Depression -Social anxiety -Panic disorder -Insomnia -Simple phobia -Alcohol abuse We do consider treating other problems as well if they fit into short term treatment. We usually start out with 10 sessions of treatment, but some treatments are shorter, e.g. for simple phobia and alcohol abuse. How much does it cost Each interview costs 1.500 kr., though the length of an interview may vary. The initial interview is 90 minutes, a standard interview is usually 60 minutes, and an interview with exposure can be as long as 180 minutes. How to apply? Fill out the secure application form here.
