First LEGO League Challenge 2024

The First Lego League Iceland competition, will take place at Háskólabíó on Saturday, November 16th. 27 teams from elementary schools across the country will compete!

The University of Iceland’s Science Centre (UniSci) will also have an open house! Fun and learning for the whole family!

This year’s competition theme is 'Submerged,' where the FIRST LEGO League teams explore the ocean floor and reveal the layers and ecosystems of the sea through creative thinking and LEGO technology. Participants will investigate the deep sea and bring their discoveries to the surface, focusing on real-world problems related to the health and sustainability of the ocean.

The competition will also be streamed on the website firstlego.is.
