Frjálsíþróttahöllin in Laugardalur
The graduation from undergraduate- and graduate studies at the University of Iceland takes place on Saturday, 19 June 2021 at Frjálsíþróttahöllin in Laugardalur (the new Laugardalshöll).
The graduation ceremony will be held in two stages as usual, but the organisation will differ due to restrictions on gatherings. Only candidates who are receiving their diplomas can attend the cermonies, however, there will be live streaming for families and friends online.
The first ceremony will be held at 10 for candidates graduating from undergraduate and graduate studies from the Schools of Engineering and Natural Sciences and and Social Sciences.
The second one starts at 1.30 P.M. for candidates graduating from undergraduate and graduate studies from the Schools of Education, Health Sciences, and Humanities.
Students due to graduate received a letter with further details.

University staff will be on site to assist and guide candidates on seating arrangements.

- It will be possible to watch the ceremonies after it is over on the same link or on the University YouTube channel.

- You can use technology such as AirPlay to connect a phone or a computer with Apple TV.
My stream is lagging, what can I do?
- Try using another gadget, e.g. a smart phone.
- Use the browsers Chrome or Safari
- Switch over to 4G, it sometimes works better than wi-fi even though the connection is fast.
