Gulleggið 2020 is currently open for registration
Gulleggið is a competition for entrepreneurs, and one of the best places to start transforming your businesses idea into a real startup. Registration is open until 4 P.M. on 3 September.
It is run by Icelandic Startups, the largest private startup community organisation in Iceland.
Gulleggið offers workshops, training and advice from experienced entrepreneurs and other leading industry experts. In the process participants are invited to submit their business idea to a group of judges and have the chance to be selected among the top ten finalists, which is considered a great acknowledgement. Additionally the winner receives 1 million ISK and a trophy to keep.
Workshops are usually conducted in Icelandic, however international students are welcome to participate, and the organizers are happy to help out with translation and advice in English.
