Orientation Days Programme

Orientation Days Programme - Available at University of Iceland

The Orientation Days programme is specifically targeted towards Incoming Exchange Students, but all International Students are welcome to take part in the events in the Student Cellar and the guided tour around the campus. New International Students studying a full degree at the University of Iceland will also be invited to welcome meetings in their respective schools.

The aim of the Orientation Days is to introduce students to the support services offered, meet fellow students and help them adjust to a new culture.

The programme includes introduction and practical information session, a guide on how to make the best out of your exchange in Iceland and the keys to success studying at the University of Iceland. Furthermore, there will also be a crash course in Icelandic, a welcome reception with BBQ and live music, mentor-mingle and other social activities with the International Committee.
