The University of Iceland has decided to extend the deadline for paying the registration fee to 5 August and is also offering students the option to pay in instalments. These measures were implemented in order to accommodate the many students who have suffered a loss of income due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The annual registration fee at the University of Iceland is ISK 75,000 and the original deadline was 4 July.
Students can pay the registration fee in instalments
Students can pay the registration fee in a single payment using a debit or credit card, or take a card loan and pay in instalments to suit individual circumstances.
Where to pay the registration fee?
- Current UI students can pay the registration fee in Ugla, under 'My Ugla'.
- Students who have been accepted onto a programme starting this autumn can pay the registration fee through the University Communication Portal where they originally applied.
- Current and new students will also receive a payment notice in their online banking system and may also choose to pay there.
