The GEST Podcast is a new podcast created by the Gender Equality Studies and Training (GEST) Programme at the University of Iceland. In the podcast, Dr Thomas Brorsen Smidt talks with the GEST fellows about their everyday lives, their expectations, and what they are up to in Iceland. Interviews will also be conducted with visiting scholars teaching in the programme.
Two episodes have now been published; the guest in the first episode was Allen Asiimwe from Uganda, who, among other things, discussed revenge pornography; and in the second episode, Musa Hove and Limbikani Mkangadzula discussed challenges of engaging men and boys in gender equality issues.
You can subscribe to The GEST Podcast on iTunes, Spotify, Google Podcast and other podcasting services.
