University students who wish to participate in Erasmus+ exchange studies or traineeships may apply for a disability or illness grant to meet the additional costs.
Examples of costs covered by the grant:
- Assistant’s salary
- Assistant’s travel expenses
- Special housing to meet the needs of the student
- Additional travel expenses
- Shipping costs for equipment
The student must submit an application form, cost estimation and a certificate attesting to the student’s disability or illness to the International Division.
The International Division subsequently places a formal request for the grant to the National Agency of the Erasmus+ Program on behalf of the student.
The student should make a thorough inquiry about facilities and services for students with disabilities at the host institution. Furthermore, the student shall inform the host institution of his/her disability or illness as soon as possible so as to ensure the best possible services from the start of his/her studies.
