180 ECTS - BA degree
The objectives of this BA study programme in German are that students acquire a very good practical knowledge of the German language and a good knowledge of German linguistics; gain a good insight into literature, culture and history of the German-speaking countries and are able to use the language to express themselves successfully in various situations, both orally and in writing.
Icelandic matriculation examination (stúdentspróf: school leaving examination from secondary school) or equivalent qualification. Further information can be found in article 15, regulation on admission requirements for undergraduate study no. 331/2022.
Students must be at the A2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
