Dr. Juliane Bendig from the Institute for Bio- and Geosciences, IBG-2: Plant Science, Research Centre Jülich, Germany gives the lecture Remote sensing of vegetation using the plant’s glow: solar-induced chlorophyll fluorescence.
Abstract:
Remote sensing of solar-induced chlorophyll fluorescence (SIF) measured with remote sensing sensors is a key parameter to better understand plant functioning at different spatial and temporal scales. This talk explains what SIF is, how we can measure it and why.
