The event programme includes presentations on study abroad opportunities, International Festival, lottery, karaoke, pub quiz and more.
International Days of the UI are celebrated annually to emphasise the various opportunities for students, teachers and staff, which are made possible through the university’s active participation in international cooperation.
EVENT PROGRAMME
Presentations on exchange studies and traineeships abroad, which are open to UI students, will be held every day. Additionally, possibilities for short-term studies abroad will be introduced, intended to enable even more students to take part of their studies abroad.
Current exchange students will take over the International Division´s and University's social media providing an insight into their experience.
Student and staff can also participate in a lottery and have a chance to win great prizes.
The Student Cellar will be one of the central points during International Days where a lot of fun can be had during the evenings!
INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL
The main event of the International Days is on Thursday 7 November at 11:30-13:30 at the University Centre. There students can learn about exchange studies, traineeships and more.
Students will get the chance to speak to other students who have previously gone on an exchange and current international exchange students. Representatives from embassies and various Icelandic organisations will also be attending. The different Schools and Faculties of the University will be able to assist students and answer questions about studies abroad.
Furthermore, university staff members can learn about Erasmus+ teacher and staff exchange programmes.
The aim of the International Days is to emphasise the various international opportunities for students, teachers and staff around the world.
