Daniel Leeb, Founding partner and Executive Mission Director at the  Iceland Space Agency gives the lecture From Iceland to the Moon, Mars & beyond.

Abstract

Iceland has the most diverse set of terrestrial analogs of the Moon, Mars, and other heavenly bodies that exist on Earth in relative close proximity to one another and with access to critical infrastructure. As a result, Iceland is a critically important destination to conduct the research and test the technology and operational procedures that are essential for the future of space exploration. However this research and technology tis equally important for understanding and protecting Earth and how we can all live a healthier and more sustainable existence on our own planet.
