210 ECTS - Ph.D. degree
The Faculty of Political Science offers a doctorate programme in Public Administration. As a requirement for admission students should have a MA degree from the School of Social Sciences, University of Iceland, with first class grades or an equivalent qualification. The programme is designed as a full time study for three academic years.
About the Studies
The Ph.D. thesis is 180 ECTS credits and mandatory courses. Candidates may be required to take up to 60 ECTS credits in courses. Candidates who have completed both BA and MA degree from a university in Iceland are required to take part of their studies at a university abroad.
