Presentations on study abroad opportunities, International Festival, lottery, karaoke, pub quiz and the annual International Festival are on the agenda to this years International Days of the University of Iceland, held 8-10 November.
The aim of the International Days is to emphasise the various international opportunities for students and staff, which are made possible through the university’s active participation in international cooperation.
Presentations on exchange studies and traineeships abroad, which are open to UI students, will be held every day. Possibilies for short-term studies abroad will be introduced, intended to enable even more students to take part of their studies abroad. Additionally, grant opportunities for UI teachers and staff will be introduced.
The main even, the International Festival takes place at Háskólatorg (University Centre) on Thursday 9 October between 11:30 am and 1.30 pm. At the International Festival students can learn about exchange studies, traineeships and summer schools, as well as further studies abroad.
During the International Days there will be a Game Café at the Student Bookstore and DJ Party and Karaoke at the Student Cellar.
