Friday was a happy day in the Main Building when the University of Iceland held its third graduation this year. This time 295 candidates received their degree certificates from both undergraduate and graduate studies.
There was no formal ceremony, just as in previous years, but candidates were invited to collect their degree certificates from the University’s Ceremonial Hall in the Main Building. Many candidates used this festive opportunity and came, all dressed up, to the Main Building, many accompanied by their families who celebrated an important milestone with them and a job well done.
The candidates who graduated today join the group of 420 candidates who graduated in February and the 2,652 candidates who graduated from Laugardalshöll this summer. The University has thus graduated a total of 3,367 candidates from undergraduate and graduate studies in 2024.
The University of Iceland congratulates all candidates on their accomplishment and wishes them good luck in the future.
