Among the best in Europe

""

The University of Iceland has advanced on the list of the best universities in Europe and is currently ranked between 120 and 130. The University of Iceland was previously ranked between 131 and 140 on the list. This is according to a new ranking list from the Times Higher Education European Top 200 Rankings published earlier in the week. This is the second time a special list is published over the best 200 universities in Europe, featuring two British universities in the top two seats. The University of Oxford is currently the best university in Europe followed closely by the University of Cambridge. Karolinska Institute is placed highest on the list of all of the Nordic countries, or in eighth place.

Times Higher Education has published a list of the best universities in the world for over a decade. This list is one of the most prestigious of its kind. Times Higher Education’s evaluation covers numerous operational factors in the universities, including research activity, international impact, teaching, and study environment. The University of Iceland is currently ranked between 201 and 250 on the world rankings list. The quality and the scientific impact of the research by University staff is the decisive factor concerning the University of Iceland’s place on the list.

The list of the best universities in Europe 2017 can be found on the Times Higher Education website.
