The annual International Days will be held on the 4th to 6th of November. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, all events will be held online.
The event programme includes presentations of exchange studies, traineeships and summer schools abroad, as well as pub quiz and photo competition.
The International Days aim to bring the wide variety of international partnerships of the University of Iceland to attention, benefitting both staff and students looking to expand their horizons.
Presentations of exchange studies, summer schools and traineeships abroad will be open to all students of the University of Iceland.
Additionally, a presentation of the AURORA network and European University Alliance will offer both staff and students insight into the network’s projects and future opportunities within the alliance.
Furthermore, university staff members can learn about teacher and staff exchange programmes, along with other possibilities through Erasmus+.
Current exchange students and trainees, both in Iceland and abroad, will take over the International Office’s instagram page and give insight into their experiences and answer questions.
Students that have been on exchange are given the chance to win a photography competition that will exhibit the best submissions in the University Centre. The exhibit seeks to portray the essence of being an exchange student and will be set up during the International Days, lasting throughout November.
