Teachers at the Faculty of Nursing conduct a wide range of research and have collaboration with both domestic and foreign scientists.
The research activity of teachers at the Faculty of Nursing is in high growth. World-class research is conducted, within the faculty, in collaboration with numerous foreign universities and scholars. The teachers' field of studies are diverse and their research covers the entire well-being of humans, health, and development of health services. Teachers at the Faculty of Nursing publish articles in prestigious journals as well as publish books that, among other things, are used as teaching material for our students.
Students in postgraduate studies at Faculty of Nursing have the opportunity to conduct research under the guidance from one of Iceland´s most outstanding scientists.
