The lecture will describe the mechanisms of the impact of climate change on the banking sector, divided into physical risk and transition risk. Two research hypotheses will be presented on the systemic nature of climate risk and household credit risk resulting from climate change and climate policy. Issues such as climate education, reputational risk and greenwashing will also be addressed.
