Description: Aurora is a cooperation of European research-intensive universities united by a shared commitment to social relevance and a diverse student body. By working closely with other European universities, the University of Iceland benefits from their strengths to enhance education, research and innovation at the University in response to societal challenges and increase its contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals.

Aurora has received 7 million Euros in funding from the European Commission as part of their flagship European Universities Initiative, which aims to strengthen the European higher education system. This creates new opportunities and benefits for students and staff at the University of Iceland which will be presented during this seminar and discussed with participants.
