Equal Rights Policy University of Iceland Equality Action Plan 2018-2020 Introduction Equality is one of the three central tenets of University of Iceland policy, a guiding principle in the University’s work and the basis of diversity and respect in the University community (HÍ21, the Strategy of the University of Iceland 2016-2021).
Division of Science and Innovation The role of the Division of Science and Innovation is to oversee joint university matters relating to research, such as consultancy for academic staff and institutes. The Division of Science and Innovation is expected to strengthen cooperation between faculties and institutes in the field of research. The Division of Science and Innovation works closely with the University Council Science Committee. The main projects of the Division involve research-related funds, evaluating the performance of academic staff, the work of evaluation committees, and University statistics.
