Undergraduate studies
The faculty offers two undergraduate programmes in Economics. BS in Economics and BA in Economics with a minor subject.
These programmes are taught in Icelandic, however, single courses are taught in English.

The teaching of economics at the University of Iceland is based on a firm foundation. Economics has been taught at the university since the establishment of the Faculty of Business Administration in 1962, and in fact, since the establishment of the Faculty of Law and Economics at the university in 1941.
