Abstract

My research is on fishes' ecology and evolution, focusing on how maternal effects and ecological factors promote and maintain intraspecific diversity. Current projects look at (1) evolution and diversity of populations of Arctic charr AC found in springs and lava caves in Iceland, (2) temporal changes in freshwater fish communities in connection with warming in Faroese lakes, and (3) density of breeders and breeding habitats of AC in Lake Mývatn.
