Abstract
Tinna Laufey Ásgeirsdóttir, Ph.D., is a Professor of Economics and the Director and Principal Investigator of ConCIV (Consortium on Compensating Income Variation). Her research primarily focuses on applied microeconomics, including for example wellbeing economics, health economics, labor economics, economics of education and experimental economics. She has a keen interest in the valuation of non-market goods and services that significantly contribute to individual and societal wellbeing. Prof. Ásgeirsdóttir's extensive publication record includes a long list of scientific papers, book chapters, and books. She has been awarded multiple research grants and has served in various editorial capacities, currently as editor of the academic journal Health Economics. Her leadership extends to numerous consultative roles, board memberships, committee positions, and advisory panels.
