Abstract
My research interests include international security, with a regional focus on Arctic security, politics and governance; theories of international relations; the politics of international law and the politics of technology. My two most recent publications examine the international politics of the Arctic Circle Assembly over its first decade (Global Society, 2024) and the role of academics in the manufacture of international humanitarian law (Journal of the History of International Law, forthcoming).
I am a member of the UArctic Thematic Network on Critical Arctic Studies (criticalarcticstudies.com) and presently supervise 2 PhD students.
