
Applications have now opened for stundents at the University of Iceland to participate in the project ReyVarstigur – From Reykjavik to Warsaw: in the Footsteps of the Polish Enlightenment. The project consists of online lectures, a two week study visit in Warsaw and a symposium in Reykjavík, and the project covers transport, accommodation and Polish course in Warsaw for all participants.
The application deadline is 16th of May, and the selection of participants will be announced on the 30th of May.
Participants will participate in a rich cultural program in Warsaw with excursions, visits to museums and cultural institutions, and participation in cultural events.
All students registered at the University of Iceland can apply to partake in the project, however priority is given to students who are beginners in Polish, have interest in the history and culture of Poland, and want to deepen their knowledge of the European Enlightenment. A good command of English is also a necessary requirement for participation. Ten spots are available and participants will be selected based on the quality of applications.
Those students who complete all aspects of the project will receive 5 ECTS credits .
