The public universities in Iceland are currently exploring ways to improve services for students with a foreign background through an online survey, which will be available from 28 January to 4 February. The survey is the first part of the "Inclusion in the Icelandic University Community" project, a collaborative effort among the universities.
Students with an international background are encouraged to respond to the survey. The results will be used to enhance the welfare and well-being of students during their university studies.
The survey, available in both Icelandic and English, consists of simple multiple-choice questions and takes approximately 7–10 minutes to complete. Three participants who complete the survey will be randomly selected to win a gift card worth 20,000 ISK.
The survey includes some background questions, such as those related to the participants’ origin and age. These are designed to help analyze individuals’ experiences of university studies and social life from various perspectives.
The survey is anonymous and voluntary. No responses can be traced back to participants. Responses will not be shared, but the results will be presented within the universities. All data will otherwise be handled in accordance with the universities’ privacy policies and the law on data protection and the processing of personal information.
