Free Group Counseling for English speaking students at the University of Iceland.

Students of UI are invited this semester to take part in „Sálrækt - group counseling“. The University has provided this service since 2018 to help students cope with difficult feelings related to academic stress and other life issues.

Meetings take place in Setberg, a classroom in Setberg - the Building of Academic Affairs. There will be 10 weekly meetings held on Wednesdays at 14:10-15:30. They start on Wednesday, January 25th.

Dr. Gunnar Hrafn Birgisson, clinical psychologist, will lead the sessions based on Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy.
