The annual concert series, University concerts, begins this Thursday. The concerts are four this spring semester and the programme of the series is varied as usual. The focus is on classical music by both Icelandic and International composers as in previous years.
The first concert of the year is on Thursday 27 January where Ágúst Ólafsson, baritone, and Eva Þyri Hilmarsdóttir, piano, will perform songs about separation and loss by Erich Wolfgang Korngold. The concert begins at 12.30 in the UI Main Building, Aula 2nd floor.
