Applicants to the MA in applied economics are not required to have completed an undergraduate degree in economics. Students are taught the fundamentals of economics and quantitative methodology in economic research at the start of the semester. The programme then builds on this foundation to provide students with further knowledge of economics and economic research.
Students can take elective courses from the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Business Administration, as well as other UI faculties.

The programme is 120 ECTS and is organised as two years of full-time study.
