The BA and graduate programmes of the Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences provide degrees in the fields of biology, geography, and tourism studies. The curriculum covers considerable ground, from the smallest units of life, the working of genes and cells, to global changes in the environment and how it affects and is affected by mankind.

The programmes take at least three years to fulfil if taken as full time study.
Applicants need to have found a supervisor and have an idea of a project before applying.
Prospective applicants are asked to contact the Head of Department or Faculty in the relevant research field.
Certified copies of diplomas on paper (not scanned or photocopies) must be submitted no later than two weeks after the application deadline.
