For bachelor's level
- High School Diploma + 1 year of higher education (or 10 AP courses)
For master's level
- Bachelor's degree (4 years)
- The admission requirement for most study programs at the University of Iceland at the graduate level is to have finished a bachelor's degree with a first-class grade average (7.25).
