Abstract

I am a Professor in the Environment and Natural Resources (ENR) Graduate Program, situated at the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of Iceland. My teaching and research focus is on corporate social responsibility/corporate sustainability, sustainable business models, strategy implementation, stakeholders, the SDGs, circular economy, systemic risk, insurance, Arctic, and more. I was a Fulbright Arctic Initiative scholar (2018-2019) and over the years I have participated in national and international research projects including a project on COVID-19 impacts on remote Arctic communities, Teaching Institutional Resilience and Prompt Reaction to Crisis: Good Governance Experiences in Europe (TERRAGOV), Hydrogen fuel cells solutions in shipping in relation to other low carbon options – a Nordic perspective (HOPE), and Hydrogen, ammonia and methanol in hydrogen hubs in the Nordic region (H2AMN). In addition, I have significant management and specialist experience from the financial sector (insurance/pension fund).
