Abstract

Our lab works on evolutionary questions, about both ecological factors influencing diversity and organisms, and the genetic and developmental systems that build them. We study the interactions of genes and environmental factors that over development generating organismal forms and biodiversity. We use a range of study systems, nordic salmonid species like arctic charr and brown trouth, but also fruitflies, ants and biting midges. Most studies are on naturally sampled material, but we have also used experimental approaches.
